- Learn how to determine what's negative and what's damaging to your score.
- Learn what's positive and what's needed on your report and how to get more.
Modules 2 & 3: Correct & Restore
During this section you will:
- Learn the tricks of the trade and how to "clean" your credit report, including how to successfully dispute and remove your credit without hiring a specialist.
- Identify common incorrect information on the credit report and where to find it on yours.
- Learn how to understand Statute of Limitations and how to implement it in your case.
- Learn who to contact to fix incorrect items and the information you will need when contacting them.
- Learn what to do if you dispute an item and it returns.
Module 4: Understand
During this section you will:
- Learn the essentials of your healthy credit mix.
- Learn how grace payment periods work and how long you have until a late payment affects your credit report.
- Gain a better understanding of common credit issues related to student loans, how they impact your credit, and how to use student loans as a credit building tool.
Module 5: Build
During this section you will:
- Walk away with an understanding of how to responsibly build credit.
- Learn the warning signs to look for and how to avoid predatory companies.
- Receive access to commonly used rebuilding tools that are already available.
Module 6: Sustain
During this module you will:
- Learn how frequently to check your credit report.
- Gain an understanding of how to protect your newly improved credit from identity theft and other threats.
- Learn what to do if you lose your job and aren't able to cover your bills.
- Complete the course with an understanding of what you need to do to keep good credit.
